"Let me pre face this with I am a current and in good standing elks member. We Visited here from holland while camping in interlochen(this is our second visit here in 2 years). The drinks were good and the lodge looked beautiful.. The first bartender we dealt with had a short attitude and was otherwise disappointing to deal with... that aside the other gal behind the bar seemed cheerful and happier all the way around. When we decided to stand up from our seats and began to walk out we were met with a comment like "now we can have our seats back" as if we inconvenienced the members so much that their drinks tasted horrible because of the fact we took "their" spots. To act like that when outsiders visit their lodge is sad and not what I would expect from a place that should be practicing charity, justice, brotherly love, and fidelity. We will not be returning to this lodge and hope that this review finds its way to the presiding board to hopefully correct future issues for other visiting elks members"
